Thomas Sleeper is the founder and driving force behind InterContinental Insurance Brokers, LLC. He is an industry thought leader, and visionary, and continues to define the firm’s mission as he directs overall operations and serves as the chief strategist in developing client solutions. Sleeper's expertise and insurance career spans over thirty-five years in Industrial, Multi-family, Commercial Real Estate, and Private Client Services.
His focus continues to be built upon sound financials, comprehensive insurance programs, and ensuring that the company's initiatives are executed with the highest industry ethical standards. His understanding of the claims process and successful track record of claim settlements on behalf of his clients have allowed him to maintain a client retention rate well beyond the standard of the industry.

Carla specializes in complex management liability and executive risk issues affecting private and public, for-profit and non-profit organizations. She has provides a wide variety of risk management consulting and insurance brokerage services to clients. Carla helps minimize financial loss and guarantee positive financial results for businesses ranging from small sole proprietorships to multi-national enterprises.

Prior to joining InterContinental, Carla was a Producer and Risk Management Consultant with Eastern Insurance Group. She also served over 19 years as a Managing Consultant with Albert Risk Management Consultants. She has been an expert public speaker for real estate and construction organizations, trade associations and legal groups on a variety of risk management topics affecting real estate and construction. Carla is an accredited risk management and insurance educator for Continuing Legal Education (CLE) International.
Carla graduated from Mount Holyoke College with her Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations. She also was a Sarah Williston Scholar. Carla is a licensed Insurance Broker, Licensed Insurance Advisor, Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), and a Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist (CRIS).
